An innovative exibition to celebrate the two thousand years since the death of

Emperor Augustus. The exibition will show monuments and the Roman territory

at the time of Augustus not by finds but employing modern technology.

Four different perspective of the Roman cuture will be provided by four cities.

First, the museum Foro Imperiale in the heart of Rome; Alexandria in Egypt, exhibits

in the splendid rooms of the Alexandria library; Amsterdam puts on a display in the

museum Allard Pierson and finally Sarajevo, where the town hall has recently

restored its ancient library.
